Kampala Cotton Company
Fabric With A Story
Melissa has been fortunate to be able to visit Uganda, East Africa many times over the last three decades with Sister Schools, the non-profit organization that her husband, Terry, founded in 1988.
She has formed a very close relationship with Kampala School for the Physically Handicapped. On each visit to the school, Melissa teaches a new project or technique to the students. Over the years they have become quite skilled! The students have become extraordinary hand-dyers. We are awestruck at the beauty of their fabrics. We always bring as much home as we can carry. These fabrics are available for sale as we are thrilled to support this amazing school!
